Deposits
We have initiated a new policy for deposits, we have taken careful consideration into this so please be advised this is not a money grab, just a means at getting people to take there appointments a little more seriously and not waste my time.

Deposit amounts as follows:

Half Sleeve - $150 

Full Sleeve - $250

Half Back - $200

Full Back - $250

Large scale (anything larger than a 8"x 8" - $100

Tattoo's smaller than 8"x 8" - $50

I apologize if this seems strange to some, but as the growing popularity of tattoos and Tattoo shows, I seem to have a lot of people intrigued more by the idea of booking a tattoo appointment than actually getting the tattoo done, and the problem with this is the people who are really interested in getting a tattoo done are put off by the waiting time when in actuality they could be getting in sooner where as the" tire kickers " are pushing back my waiting list.

FINAL NOTE - if the design is finished, the  deposit is NOT refundable

Designs
Please keep in mind I am trying to keep this light humor here and is not meant to discourage anyone or deter them, I am just asking you be clear with your concepts and realize time is valuable.

I constantly get asked to design custom tattoos for people , so up to this point things were fine, but as I find some people are wasting a lot of my time and schedules are being pushed back I find that it is only fair to those and myself that some rules be laid down. So when you ask for me to design a tattoo you be aware. The $50 deposit is not payment for the design to be done, it is only to hold your appt date , otherwise it would not come off the end price of the tattoo.  I am not obligated to do any design if I chose not to.  I will NOT design a tattoo without the $50 deposit.

1 -The first design is complimentary, this means you have not paid for it, I am doing this as a freebee, no payment has come my way, I’m doing this because I like to design tattoos for you. The second design will cost $50, a second design entails that you have changed your idea for ex.

2 -The first revision to an original design is also a freebee , so if you have not changed from your original design and you notice you want to make a few changes to the design still keeping in the same content and design idea that’s ok. Saying that you want to go with a whole new look but keeping the same idea is gonna cost $20. This means for instant, if I have designed a lower back tribal tattoo and you do not like it, you have 2 choices 1 pay $20 and have me revamp it so that it is still a lower back tribal tattoo or you can bring in your own design you have found or drawn up.

Payment must be made before new designs or revisions will be done.

3 -Please realize that with the time frame of designing and tattooing that I do not have the time to shade in or colour the design, so you will rarely see a finished product unless it is consisted of finished elements I may have on my computer that I put designs together with.

4 -If I say that this is the minimal size I can go, that’s it , I do not want to do a tattoo with so much detail that in 1 year or so you will be complaining that it looks like shit. I get that enough from other artists whom have tried to complicate a small tattoo with too much detail and now you are scrambling to get it fixed or covered. It’s not a matter of trying to get more money out of you by making it bigger I just feel that it is important to understand that small detail in the skin will blurr together over time. For example Amy Brown fairies, they are too be larger for the reason that the face & hands cannot be done in such a small manner, so if you wish to have a faceless fairy with mittens on, please respect as what it is I am trying to do.

5 - it is an hourly rate, $100 per hour, this is the BASE rate for a decent artist in this area. Other artists have been known to charge anywhere from $150 - $200 in this area. This being said , almost any tattoo that is done will be charged in an hourly manner and not by tattoos compared to what has been paid at other shops, this is a studio setting and not a walk-in pick it off the wall shop. 

All in all I guess this is all I have to say about this, I hope you appreciate what it is I am trying to achieve here and that is fairness for everyone including myself, so thanx for reading this. Please enjoy your tattoo experience here at Beesting Tattoo

Just a heads up for those of you who are looking for custom designs.  I am a one man show who has to design and tattoo everything, this is not Miami Ink with a team of 4 artists, I like to take the time to design each tattoo with all of the ideas you the client and myself have in mind to make your tattoo look great for years to come. I spend countless hours in the design studio to take care of all your needs.  I only mention this because I seem to get phone calls & E-mails from people asking when there design will be finished, Jackie has instructed everyone that  they will receive a phone call within 2 weeks of your appt date and I have yet to let anyone down.  So again to those of you who are over anxious please be patient, Jackie and myself  work extra hard for those of you who have chosen Beesting Tattoo as your Tattoo Studio .

I have encountered a few instances  where I'm not sure people are too clear as to what they are looking for, pleeease, before asking me to design up something,  be sure of what you are looking for down to every detail , this can include bringing out any reference material you may have that may be of assistance to me and you for the final outcome of your design and tattoo .  I try my very best to give my interpretation of what the design should look like , so when I am asked to design the tattoo , I want the client to know that it will be my interpretation and how I feel it will lay out best as a design, if this does not sound like something you feel comfortable leaving up to me, then I ask that you have a ready design that someone can design up for you.  I will have no  problem giving you what they have drawn up.  Designing has always been a very personal part of why I tattoo and it means a lot to me.

Tattoos start at $60 and go up. DO NOT call us to ask for a price quote as we cannot give one without seeing the actual design in person. The cost of a tattoo is determined by size, detail, color, placement on the body, and the work and time involved in doing the tattoo. The hourly rate is $100 per hour. We do the highest quality tattoos at very reasonable prices so please do not try to haggle price. This is not a flea market!!! If you are looking for Walmart prices, go to your local Rookie scratcher and don't waste our time. 
Good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good.

Ask about our Gift Certificates, available all year long, good for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or whatever.  You chose the amount you want to give to someone, no preset amounts.
